Meet the 2024 Startup Mendocino Participants
We welcome the entrepreneurs selected for this years startup Mendocino program. They will become part of the growing StartUp Mendocino peer-to-peer network which provides ongoing collaboration beyond the program’s timeline.
During the 19-week program participants will be introduced to new approaches in a series of five modules that address business and financial planning, successful branding and marketing, technology and best practices for e-commerce, time management, and how to pitch your business.

As a successful business owner and West Center Director, Mike brings real world rural business insights to his cohort. His sales, management, and advisory background aim to empower small ventures. Holding a BA from UC Berkeley and an MBA from St. Mary’s College, he’s poised to lift our StartUp Mendocino businesses to new heights.

Lisa leverages 30+ years in HR leadership to simplify complexities for small businesses. Her tenure at Intel and startups fosters pragmatic solutions. Co-founding Affogato HR Consulting, she’s adept at relationship-building and conflict resolution. Lisa holds a bachelor’s in industrial and organizational psychology and SPHR certification.
Julia Siderakis

With nearly four decades in the culinary field and three as a restaurateur, Julia is a seasoned expert. She advises businesses, teaches business classes at Mendocino College, and collaborates for Mendocino County’s economic growth. Her involvement in community boards and business expansion underscores her commitment to local success.
